CERTIFICATION FOR KAZAKHSTAN

The certification system in Kazakhstan is similar to that of the Russian Federation. In fact, until recently Russian certificates could easily be converted to Kazakh certification. At present the Kazakh certification system is undergoing constant changes and thus hands-on expertise is a must.

Types of certification are:

- GOST K (equivalent to Russian GOST R)
- GGTN K (equivalent to Russian RTN "Permit to Use")
- KIM (equivalent to Russian Metrology certificate)
- Technical Passport (equivalent to Russian Technical Passport)
